Flat concrete tile roofs are a popular form of roofing for Vancouver, especially in certain neighbourhoods such as Coquitlam's Burke Mountain & Westwood Plateau areas, for example. This type of roof, which can be found with or without grooves, requires extra caution when maintaining them because of their potential to crack & chip if they are walked on by inexperienced or careless operators, especially in the valleys and ridges of the roof. With that being said, we often find minor chips or cracks, as well as tiles that have slid out of place (all of which can be caused by animals, weather, or imperfect installation), upon our arrival. In these instances, we will inspect your roof to determine the severity of these issues and inform you if the tiles need to be repaired or replaced.
