CEDAR SHAKE
Cedar shake roofing requires a bit of a different approach when attempting to clean it. For safety purposes, our team uses cedar cleats in order to walk on the roof itself, in addition to the fall-safety equipment that we use on all roof types. In cases where there is moss growth, we will use a nylon-bristle brush to remove it and where required, we clear debris between the shakes as well. The soft wash treatment is then applied and rinsed, taking care of the moss and algae, as well as brightening up the shakes themselves.
